CARING MINISTRY
The Caring Ministry meetings held in 2007 were helpful for both our
members and our minister, Dr. Dan. It was a chance for us to
share how we can best reach out to those in our congregation in need of
a little care and compassion.
Visitation is an important part of Dr. Dan’s ministry and two of our
members volunteered to be in touch with members of the congregation who
would appreciate a visit from him.
Lynette Halvorson and Dr. Dan visited residents at Hilltop House in Dec
who are affiliated with our church. They included: Vera Moule,
Mary Goad, Isobel MacDonald, Thelma MacDonald, Fern Green, Gwen Fox,
June Manson, Norman Saugstad, and former Squamish resident Ed
Antosh. Visits were also made to Frances Marsh, Irene Bryant and
Maurice Carlson, Shirley Brown and Alida Hoogenboom.
Our members also baked cookies for the Bereavement Support group for
their six-week programs in the Spring and Fall

Dawson, Vicki Haberl, Nancy Bogle-Tardif, Irene Vickers and Maureen
Gilmour.
