SOME PRAYERS OF JOHN WESLEY

Covenant Prayer by John Wesley

I am no longer my own, but thine.
Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt;
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee,
exalted for thee or brought low by thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things
to thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
let it be ratified in heaven.  Amen.

John Wesley's Rule for Christian Living

Do All the Good You Can,
By All the Means You Can,
In All the Ways You Can,
In All the Places You Can,
At all the Times You Can,
To All the People You Can,
As Long as Ever YOU CAN!

Scriptural Christianity

Here I am: I and my bible
I will not, I dare not, vary from this book,
Either in great things or small.
I have no power to dispense with one jot or tittle
Of what is contained therein.
I am determined to be a bible christian,
Not almost, but altogether.
Who will meet me on this ground?
Join me on this, or not at all.
